Ah Bezos' thunderous laughter takes me back to my old amazon days where one can hear him laughing a mile away. In this Daily Show clip, he introduces the V2 of the Kindle - a much sleeker, more Apple-esque version of the former. I had a gazillion issues with the first version so hopefully this one serves readers better.

Happy Birthday Wallace Stegner! He celebrated his centennial on Feb 18th. It was his beautiful book Angles of Repose that made me rethink my breakup with my now husband. In Justin's version of the story, the book convinced me to 'crawl' back to him. I'll have to agree :)

An old cohort of mine from A9 recently launched a wikipedia for Foodies called Foodista. It's growing into a monster of a database for Food Tips, Food Recipes and Food Photos - a food bloggers dream. I haven't played around with it much, but I am putting it on my daily browse list :)
